Networks & infrastructure

Business networks engineered end to end, from the cabling in your walls to the firewalls, VPNs and carrier circuits that connect you to everything else.

What we build

Every layer of the network, designed together so the pieces work as one system.

Structured cabling

Copper and fiber runs, patch panels, rack builds and cable management. Every drop is labeled, tested and verified before we hand it over.

Switching and VLANs

Managed switching at 10Gb and beyond, PoE for phones, cameras and access points, and VLANs that keep staff, guests and devices apart.

Business WiFi

Access points planned around your floor plan and how the space is used, with fast roaming between access points, guest isolation and capacity for everyone who connects.

Firewalls and routing

Firewall policy, inter-VLAN routing, content filtering and intrusion prevention, configured deliberately and documented.

VPN and remote access

Site-to-site tunnels between offices and secure remote access for staff working from home or on the road.

Carriers and circuits

We work with your ISPs and circuit providers directly: business fiber, dedicated internet access, and layer 2 or layer 3 services between locations.

Multi-WAN and failover

Two or more internet connections with load balancing and automatic failover, so one provider's outage doesn't take the office offline.

Core network services

DNS, DHCP, QoS for voice and video, and traffic shaping. The plumbing everything else depends on, set up properly and written down.

Network storage

Synology and TrueNAS file servers with redundant drives and snapshots, for fast shared storage on site.

From the cable in the wall to the application on top

Network problems rarely stay in one layer. A slow application can be a bad cable, a saturated uplink, a misconfigured firewall rule, a DNS issue or the carrier's circuit. We work across all of it, so we find the actual cause instead of pointing at someone else.

When the problem is upstream, we deal with the carrier ourselves. Every run is tested and every configuration is documented, so whoever works on it next isn't guessing. Equipment is chosen for the building and the budget, and no manufacturer pays us to pick them.

Common questions

Can you deal with our internet provider for us?

Yes. We work with ISPs and circuit providers on your behalf, from choosing and ordering service to installation and troubleshooting outages.

Can you connect our offices together?

Yes, with site-to-site VPNs over the internet or with carrier layer 2 and layer 3 services, depending on what the locations need.

Can you work with the network we already have?

Usually. We start by finding out what's actually wrong. If the equipment is sound, we fix the design and configuration instead of replacing it.

What equipment do you install?

Mostly Ubiquiti, Aruba, Cisco and Eero for networking, and Synology and TrueNAS for storage, chosen for the building and budget. We take no commissions from any manufacturer.

Do you work in homes as well as businesses?

Yes. Along with offices and retail spaces, we design and install networks for large homes.

Managed IT Services

Support, monitoring and patching, Microsoft 365 and SaaS, servers, devices and security, managed day to day.

Business Phone Systems

Phones and call flows connected directly to the carrier, so you pay carrier rates and aren't locked in.

Secure IT Recycling

Drives erased or destroyed by us before anything reaches a recycler. For businesses and homes.

Network giving you trouble?

Text us what's happening and where. We'll tell you what we'd check first.
